
FITNESS
Fitness is the foundation of everything we do at North Wales Chinese Kickboxing. From bodyweight & resistance exercises to footwork, cardio drills and padwork. We’ll help build your cardiovascular fitness, build muscle and enhance your physical and mental health. Plus, it’s reckoned that an hour of kickboxing can burn upwards of 900 calories which is always a bonus!

SELF-DEFENCE
We differ slightly from other forms of kickboxing at NWCKB. We teach Chinese Kickboxing, which allows our students to learn how to defend themselves in real life situations outside of the gym with skills that translate to competition in the ring and on the mats. With time, you’ll learn to identify and avoid dangerous situations, and to be able to defend yourself if absolutely necessary.

CONFIDENCE
We’re a modern martial arts club with traditional roots. The quality we pride ourselves on the most is the confidence we instil in our students. Not just physically and mentally, but by providing discipline, structure and the opportunity to train and socialise with like-minded people. You’ll be training alongside a mixed range of people. From complete beginners to experienced martial artists. We’ll always have black belts and junior instructors on hand who’ll be happy to help you settle in to life at the club.

AFFORDABILITY
There are no membership costs or enrolment fees involved to join North Wales Chinese Kickboxing. It’s simply pay as you train; £7 for adults and £6.50 for kids 15 and younger. Life is complex and you should never be out of pocket if work comes up suddenly, you’re feeling under the weather, you’re on holiday or there are any other circumstances where you can’t attend a session. We’ve always operated this way across the NWCKB association. We always will, leaving you in control of your schedule and when you can train.

OPPORTUNITIES TO COMPETE
The NWCKB association has produced many fighters over the years. Many who’ve won countless medals and trophies at National, European & World level. If you have the desire to compete, we’ll help you get there at a pace which is comfortable for you and us, and gives you the best chance to succeed. Sparring and, subsequently, competing is optional and not mandatory. We have designated sessions available to those who wish to spar and compete. You’ll simply need to purchase a license if this is the case for you.
